The Stallion Theme by David Law is the best kept WordPress SEO secret, with so many SEO features it is amazing, and does not require SEO plugins or customization to generate great looking optimized sites for search engines, but the theme isn't a big player in the SEO community like the WordPress Theme Thesis or the All In One SEO Pack Plugin, why?

Stallion Theme vs Thesis Theme
I have used Thesis on sites and like the designs, very professional finish. Thesis is advertised as "unparalleled in terms of its SEO benefits and optimization options". I believed Thesis was the best WordPress SEO theme until I read a comment by the Stallion Themes developer Thesis Theme WordPress SEO Review.
David lists five SEO mistakes on the Thesis websites reviewed.
This information opened my eyes to the Stallion theme developers SEO knowledge, he knows his SEO stuff.
I reviewed my own Thesis theme sites and found all the Thesis SEO mistakes! I spent days reading Davids websites and learnt more about search engine optimization than the previous years.
Does your WordPress site have SEO mistakes?
1. Social network links pass link benefit or use nofollow. Nofollow deletes link benefit!
2. Awful anchor text usage. Example Home page link uses "Home" or "Click here" for text links.
3. Theme image features lack alt text.
4. Headers wasted on sidebars.
5. Comment author links use rel="nofollow".
6. Home page H1 header replicated through the site, every page optimized with H1 for sitename.
Those SEO mistakes were made on my Thesis websites.
Stallion Theme vs All In One SEO Plugin
All In One SEO Plugin is advertised as "Automatically optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization)."
A big claim for a plugin. After reading through more of the Stallion developers articles I understood All In One SEO Plugin doesn't add much search engine optimization to a WordPress blog.
SEO tutorials cover the title tag, meta tags, headers h1, h2, h3, strong, bold, italics, underline, anchor text of links, alt text of images, layout of code, social network links and more SEO factors.
All In One SEO covers title tags and meta tags.
What about other SEO factors All In One SEO missed?
Stallion Theme covers the SEO factors above and more, title tags are search engine optimized better than All In One, headers are SEO, the code layout is SEO with the important content loaded at the top of code, links created by the theme use SEO anchor text. Everything I could check is optimized by the Stallion theme, it is an amazing SEO theme.

Stallion WordPress SEO Theme Criticism
I could not find anything to fault in the Stallion themes built in search engine optimization, I am not an SEO expert but it is close to SEO perfect in my opinion.
The Stallion theme designs are not of the same standard as the themes SEO features. Stallion includes 27 theme designs, the designs can be tested on the Stallion website on the side menu which acts as a demo site.
I like Stallion Delicate, Stallion Simple and the two black designs are fine, the rest are BUTT UGLY others have complained they hate the colors.
Come on David, you can do better, the themes SEO is amazing, designs are amateur.
Without the Delicate design and David promising to add more designs I would have remained a Thesis theme user, it was a very close decision, remember the design is as important as the search engine optimization it has to look good as well.
